Challenge
• Translate their curriculum into a clear course offering
• Appeal to students, parents, and superintendents
• Link the branding to Webster Groves High School
• Set the program up for growth beyond the Webster school district
The Frick Center wanted to show up as more than a classroom. It aimed to be a hub for innovation—a place for students to experiment, grow, and evolve into capable public citizens.
Part tree, part flame, the logo respects existing branding from the Webster Groves School District while also pushing in a new and modern direction. It's a scalable representation of growth, passion, and community engagement.
Brand strategy, messaging, and visual design come together in a comprehensive brand guide that helps the Frick Center stay clear and consistent.
If the Frick Center is a tree, Forum is its first branch. It's a carefully-crafted curriculum that guides high school students through seven branches of civic life. Arts, economics, you name it.
We chose a name for the program that signified a place for open discussion, reminiscent of early democratic republics.
